EIGHT-B: Card 2 {by Amy Cassidy}

Beautiful! Stamps, stencils, cut outs, layers...Gorgeous!

NINE: Hand Print Ornament

I made a hand print ornament when Asher was about the same age as Piper is this year. I panted her hand, stamped it on canvas, cut out a circle and placed it on a wooden plaque that I covered with scrap fabric...added wooden snowflakes topped with a button, and stenciled her name and the year...oh, and added yarn to the back for hanging!

TEN: Twinkle Light Bouquet

My mom passed along extra silk flowers from our wedding. I made a bouquet, placed them in an old wooden barrel, and then hid twinkle lights inside the bouquet. It added a nice warm glow.

ELEVEN: Gift in a Jar

I put a couple of small homemade gifts in a mason jar and decorated the inside with straw, a sprig of evergreen, and frosted berries.

TWELVE: ...was a flop.
Just bein honest. I tried to make Peppermint Fudge. Umm....in case you were wondering...Mint extract and Peppermint extract are 2 completely different things. What was supposed to taste yummy and pepperminty with a sweet and chocolaty richness, was instead a toothpastey flavored top layer combined with chocolate goo {so obviously the mint part wasn't the only thing gone wrong}. Hmmm.... Yah, straight into the rubbish can. YIKES.

But so I don't finish on a depressing note. Here's a picture guaranteed to make you smile. :)

Cheers!
