A Prayer for the Overwhelmed Mama

Untangle the web of frustration, anxiety, and fatigue that bind me from the freedom of your peace.
Fuse disjointed pieces that are causing dissension in my relationships, especially my relationship with you.
Mend the ripped places where I've allowed myself to be pulled in all directions, instead of simply drawing near to you.
When I am tempted to run toward what is tangible, remind me that peace is still...and hope waits...because hope knows You will not disappoint.
When the noise of life begins to deafen my ears to Your Voice, gently lead me to a quiet place where the world is silenced and Your Whispers are clear and sweet.
When my enemy brings tornados that spins normalcy into a pile of rubble...let me find the strength to stand on Solid Ground because You are my Shelter and my Fortress and my Stronghold. Because of You I will NOT be moved.
Clear the clutter from my path, and let my feet be swift to seek Your wisdom
.
And Lord, let me hold loosely to this world, and cling tight to Your Son, so that I can always keep Your Grace as the lens in which I view all things.

{Stop by the Afterbelly Facebook page and share what's on your heart. How powerful it would be if we would rally our mama hearts together in prayer for each other. Motherhood can be VERY overwhelming, but He will faithfully & lovingly order our steps.}
